The Technical Accounting Senior is responsible for researching, interpreting and applying complex accounting standards and regulations. This role involves interpreting complex financial data, developing accounting policies, and providing guidance on technical accounting issues to internal stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires managing the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and delivering detailed financial reports. By staying informed on industry developments and regulatory changes, the Technical Accounting Senior helps the organization maintain transparency and integrity in its financial operations. This role will report to the Technical Accounting Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform technical research and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions, including equity compensation and debt.
Analyze, record, and reconcile complex transactions in the GL, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness across areas such as equity awards, debt, and environmental accruals.
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Oversee the equity awards process, from documentation and accounting implications to financial presentation.
Collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, support audit processes, and contribute to organizational projects.
Drive process efficiencies by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing automation solutions

What We’re Looking For:
Proficiency in Oracle
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
CPA preferred
Auditing or Financial Reporting experience
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
Ability to adapt to ever-changing environment
Prior experience with stock-based compensation, debt, hedge accounting
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home.
Experience/Education:
3+ years accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Experience working for public companies and/or in fast paced environments
