About the Role

The Technical Account Manager is a key technical partner responsible for leading the planning, architecture, coordination, and delivery of professional services engagements. This role focuses on designing and managing high-impact availability solutions, with a strong emphasis on data protection and monitoring, while ensuring successful outcomes for customers.

What You’ll Do
  • Contribute to proposals and Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Deliver implementation and consulting services aligned with Veeam solutions
  • Manage projects including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communication
  • Support solution design, assessment, and implementation effort estimation
  • Troubleshoot post-implementation issues and optimize customer environments
  • Develop technical documentation and best practices
  • Deliver customer training and knowledge transfer sessions
  • Support pre-sales activities and identify opportunities to expand Veeam solutions
  • Act as a liaison between customers and Veeam Support
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and documentation

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Hands-on experience with Veeam solutions or other backup/data protection technologies
  • Good understanding of storage and backup architectures (e.g., NetApp, Dell, HPE, etc.)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and modern IT environments
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals (e.g., common threats, backup/DR best practices)
  • Experience in consulting, implementation, or project delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in parallel
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
  • Business-level Japanese and conversational English proficiency (ability to communicate with global teams)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, Microsoft, or similar) are a plus, not mandatory
