THE JOB:
Step into a leadership role as a Tech Services Manager within our Facilities department, where you’ll help ensure the technology that supports our property operates seamlessly every day. In this role, you’ll oversee the operation of Tech Services under the direction of the Director of Facilities, supporting systems such as in-room entertainment, TVs, sound systems, and back-of-house content, including villa technology.
You’ll lead a team responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting these systems, ensuring both guest-facing and operational technology runs efficiently. By managing daily workflows, assigning work, and supporting your team, you’ll play a key role in delivering a reliable, high-quality experience across the property!
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Directly oversee all engineering operations and maintenance staff, including scheduling, setting priorities and goals, hiring, training, performance feedback, promotions, and employee engagement
- Ensure all facilities and engineering activities comply with local, state, and federal health, safety, and building codes, while maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Manage and oversee preventative maintenance programs, including scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and repair or replacement of equipment
- Monitor utility usage and costs, maintaining required logs and ensuring efficient consumption
- Manage inventory levels and oversee purchasing of parts, tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with property standards
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of prior relevant experience as a manager or related technical education and/or experience
- Extensive experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and overseeing the operation of commercial lighting control systems, including Control4, Lutron, and 4-wall systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime preferred
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
