We are looking for a talented and motivated Technical Manager to join the Actimize Professional Services team at our Global Talent Center in Pune, India. This role is ideal for someone who has deep experience implementing complex on‑premise and SaaS Actimize solutions, and who is passionate about leading high‑performing teams delivering regulatory compliance implementations.

You are someone who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work hands-on with intricate Actimize detection logic, customizations, configurations, and SQL queries. If you enjoy solving complex problems, managing motivated engineering teams, and enhancing enterprise-scale compliance platforms, then this role is for you.

How will you make an impact?

As a Technical Manager, you will lead a team of highly skilled developers implementing Actimize solutions. You’ll collaborate with global SMEs, architects, and business analysts while working on the latest Actimize products.

Your work will directly impact major financial institutions as you guide teams delivering enterprise-grade solutions for AML, Financial Crime, and Payments Fraud across global markets.

You will:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers working on Actimize implementations, customizations, and configuration activities.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of releases by managing dependencies, risks, timelines, and quality.
  • Act as a technical SME and point of contact for the team.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Implementation, and Customer Support teams globally.
  • Participate in recruitment and team expansion activities.
  • Ensure high chargeability and productivity for yourself and your team.
  • Support career growth for team members through mentorship, training, and challenging assignments.
  • Conduct proactive performance management including 1:1s, coaching, and feedback.
  • Ensure high-quality engineering practices across all delivery phases.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track team deliverables to ensure successful release execution.
  • Ensure best‑in‑class engineering principles, quality reviews, and delivery processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Oversee installation, customization, and configuration of complex on‑prem and multi‑tenant hosted Actimize solutions.
  • Act as SME on Actimize components, detection logic, models, and integration workflows.
  • Handle stakeholder communication and alignment across onsite/offshore teams.
  • Directly participate in hiring and skill development planning.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and global implementation teams to resolve issues and optimize delivery outcomes.
  • Drive operational improvements, deployment best practices, and continuous enhancements.
  • Support global customer engagements on technical and delivery aspects.

Have you got what it takes?

Required Skills & Experience

  • 14+ years of experience in software development or professional services.
  • 3+ years of experience managing high‑performing engineering teams in BFSI product or services environments.
  • Strong experience with Actimize implementation, configuration, deployment, and customizations.
  • Hands‑on experience in SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux OS, scripting (Shell), and deployment processes.
  • Experience working with complex high‑availability, scalable systems.
  • Exposure to onshore/offshore engagement models.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory.
  • Knowledge of Compliance, Banking, AML, IFM, or Financial Markets domain.
  • Prior exposure to AML/IFM systems is a strong advantage.
