Tech Lead, Software Development Engineering

What does a successful Senior .NET Developer do?

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies and Angular, along with hands-on experience in DevOps practices, GitLab, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and AWS.

This role involves working closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and reliable software solutions. Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications or AI-assisted development will be considered an added advantage.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET / .NET Core and Angular.
• Build responsive, scalable, and secure web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Develop and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Work with GitLab for source code management, branching strategies, merge requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and enhance DevOps processes, including build automation, release management, and deployment pipelines.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes (k8s) environments using ArgoCD for continuous delivery.
• Build, deploy, and support cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and deployment processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, including AI-enabled development and intelligent applications.
• Mentor junior developers and support team members as needed.

What you will need to have:

• 8+ years of IT experience in software development with strong expertise in .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Solid experience in frontend development using Angular.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern UI development practices.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices.
• Experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (k8s).
• Experience with ArgoCD for deployment automation and GitOps practices.
• Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, or related services.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational/non-relational databases.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and distributed systems.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and code quality tools.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Proactive work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in technical English for documentation and discussions.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to support deployments across DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.

What would be great to have:

• Experience with AI/ML integrations, Generative AI, LLM-based applications, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, Terraform, Helm, or Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience in building cloud-native and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of security best practices, authentication/authorization frameworks such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
• Prior experience in enterprise product development, financial services, or high-availability systems.
• Ability to guide technical decisions and mentor development teams.
