The role
We are seeking an experienced PLM Functional Consultant / Business Analyst with deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter to join our team in Zurich. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, driving PLM initiatives, process optimization, and system enhancements. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison between business users and the technical Teamcenter implementation team.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for PLM solutions.
• Support configuration, customization, and optimization of Teamcenter modules to meet business needs.
• Lead workshops and meetings to understand PLM processes across product lifecycle stages.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements in alignment with PLM best practices.
• Support testing activities, including preparation of test cases, execution, and defect management.
• Assist in change management, training, and user support for PLM solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of PLM processes.
What you’ll bring
• 10–15 years of experience in PLM consulting or business analysis, preferably in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Proven expertise in Siemens Teamcenter (functional knowledge and configuration experience).
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management processes, including CAD integration, BOM management, change management, and workflow management.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into functional PLM specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
• Experience with PLM upgrades, migrations, or implementations.
• Knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, CATIA) integration with Teamcenter.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
