Description:

The Team YAI Intern will play a key role in supporting the Advancement Team with the planning and execution of major fundraising events, including the TCS New York City Marathon and the TD Five Boro Bike Tour. This position involves assisting with event coordination, marketing, team member communications, supply and inventory management, and providing on-site support to ensure successful event experiences.

Job Duties

  • Support fundraising campaigns and event logistics, including planning, setup, and day-of operations.

  • Manage event supplies and maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Collaborate with the communications team to market and promote Team YAI initiatives.

  • Provide administrative support to the Advancement Team as needed.

  • Contribute creative ideas to strengthen event visibility, participant engagement, and donor outreach.

Qualifications

  • Experience hosting events, fundraisers, or related activities.

  • Strong interest in supporting a community of diverse abilities, passions, and communication styles.

  • Ability to work independently while taking direction and feedback.

  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
