Team Manager & Senior Project Manager
Taïwan Software Team – Taipei
The Team Manager & Senior Project Manager for the Taiwan Software Team is responsible for leading and developing the local software team, driving cross-functional project execution, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role combines people leadership, end-to-end project management, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions on time and in line with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
People Management
- Lead and manage the Taiwan Software Team, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and strategic objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, motivating team environment where members actively support each other to achieve shared goals.
- Promote continuous development of team members by identifying skill gaps and proposing relevant training and development plans.
Project Management
- Define, implement, and continuously improve processes and workflows between Sales and Production teams to ensure efficient and scalable operations.
- Work closely with Production and Product teams in daily operations to manage and secure on-time deliveries to customers.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and FAE teams to facilitate smooth cross-functional cooperation and strong customer relationships.
- Support Product Managers in product integration activities, including active participation in kick-off meetings (KOM), regular sync meetings, and preparation and delivery of product build /documentation to customers.
- Collaborate with Audio Engineers to define and manage the customer-facing device tuning process, including tuning flows, playlist creation, hardware checklists, and organization of customers tuning priorities.
- Work with FAE and Product Management to prioritize and manage issue resolution, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication with stakeholders.
Customer Support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders by establishing credibility, confidence, and trust through consistent, transparent, and solution-oriented communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (business, engineering, IT, etc.), sometimes a Master’s degree is a plus or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7-8 years of project management experience, including complex or international projects. 1–2 years in a lead/coordination role.
- Skills: Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities with a demonstrated ability to develop team competencies and drive performance. Solid project management skills, including project scoping and planning, risk and issue management, and stakeholder reporting.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to foster an open, collaborative, and accountable team culture. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with excellent prioritization abilities. Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and managing conflict and stress constructively. Demonstrated adaptability and ability to embrace and drive change.
- Languages: fluent Mandarin + professional English (written/spoken), especially in international companies.
