Location Padworth, Reading, RG7 4JF

Hours - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (including some bank holidays) 

Split shifts - 05:45 - 14:15 and 08:30-17:00

What will you be doing?

  • Managing a team of operatives who collect waste from outside residential properties

  • Assist with the booking of staff in/out, training of staff and liaising with the client waste officers

  • Assist in the management and control of sickness/absence levels

  • Ensure that the fleet is kept clean, to investigate any accidents/damage

  • Understand and operate all operational software systems for service and vehicle compliance, as well as safety reporting

  • Proactively engage with staff across the contract

  • Provide cover during the Supervisor's absence.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous management experience within a busy operational environment

  • Good Health & safety knowledge 

  • Operational / manual handling experience
