What will your day-to-day look like?
Foster an Active Caring culture focused on safety and well-being.
Promote and support all EH&S, CORE, Ethics, and Training programs; ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to effectively use CORE tools to determine and implement a solution.
Lead, coach, schedule, and develop production staff to ensure high engagement, flexibility, and capability.
Drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement to meet or exceed customer expectations and production targets.
Provide visible, supportive leadership on the shop floor—solve problems, remove barriers, and ensure daily commitments are achieved.
Communicate clear goals, expectations, and feedback to employees.
Lead and participate in investigations and root cause analysis for safety or quality concerns.
Collaborate across departments to meet shared objectives, including Plant 41 key performance targets.
Recognize high performance and coach underperformance through consistent, constructive feedback.
What do you need to be successful?
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant education and equivalent work experience may also be considered.
Diploma or journey person red seal in a Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Engineering-related field is an asset.
5 years of proven leadership and supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive change, influence others, and lead through transformation.
Advanced proficiency in SAP, ENOVIA, and related systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Track record of personal development and professional achievement.
Recognized for reliability, initiative, and consistent performance.
Additional training in leadership and change management considered a strong asset.
