We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our Sales Corporate team at Marsh Belux as a Team Leader Corporate Sales. This leadership role involves not only managing and growing a client portfolio but also driving the sales strategy, supervising, and motivating a high-performing sales team. You will play a key role in shaping the team’s success and contributing to Marsh’s market leadership in the insurance brokerage sector.

We are counting on you to :

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Client Executives and Business developers to achieve and exceed sales targets and growth objectives.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with Marsh Belux’s business goals to maximise revenue and market share in the Belux region.

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of key corporate clients, ensuring exceptional client service and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.

  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous professional development.

  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to support individual and team growth.

  • Collaborate closely with other departments and senior management to align sales initiatives and client engagement strategies.

  • Serve as a senior client contact for complex client needs, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to proactively adapt sales approaches.

  • Ensure compliance with all professional, regulatory, and transparency standards.

What you need to have:

  • Proven experience in Corporate or mid-sized Commercial Insurance sales with a strong track record of managing and growing client portfolios.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team towards achieving ambitious goals.

  • Broad knowledge across insurance classes such as  for example Property, Casualty, Motor, Marine, and Financial Lines.

  • Strong strategic thinking and sales planning skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships up to senior executive levels.

  • Fluency in Dutch, and English.
