The Team Leader, Manufacturing Technician will oversee the Production & Assembly function, ensuring efficient manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of products. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day production operations, planning activities, and adapting to changing demands. Key responsibilities include programming, setup, and monitoring of production equipment, performing assembly operations, and conducting quality control checks on incoming and finished goods. The role ensures compliance with ResMed’s Quality, OH&S, GMP policies, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing technicians and operators to achieve production targets.
Manage daily production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow to meet operational objectives.
Oversee equipment setup, programming, and monitoring to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Perform and ensure adherence to quality control processes for incoming materials and finished goods.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes.
Ensure compliance with all Quality, OH&S, GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation for equipment calibration, maintenance activities, and production records.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and quality standards.
Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
5 years' experience in a regulated environment (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
