The purpose of the Line Team Leader role is to develop and lead a team of operators to consistently deliver outstanding safety, quality, service, and value. This role is crucial in ensuring that the business strategy is executed through an engaged, motivated, and capable team.
The role will ensure that our site maintains the highest standards in Environment, Health, Safety, and Wellness (EHSW) and Quality while achieving production objectives.
Ensure compliance with EHS, cGMP, Quality standards and lead safety/quality investigations; model adherence to company policies
Lead and develop a team of operators, ensuring safety, quality, compliance, and output targets are met
Manage processes by setting 4M standards (Material, Manpower, Method, Measurement) and using Haleon systems (SAP, Pas‑X, CH Pack, Workday) for reconciliation, inventory, and material flows
Drive performance through problem‑solving tools, real‑time issue resolution, and continuous improvement
Identify and grow talent, set clear expectations, and provide ongoing feedback and development
Oversee staffing, task allocation, and recruitment, ensuring resource alignment and continuity across shifts
Lead improvement projects, managing scope, schedule, cost, and cross‑functional coordination
Manage the Manufacturing budget and ensure cost‑effective operation
High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/production; Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
3–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or packaging, ideally in a regulated industry (pharma, FMCG)
Experience in FDA‑regulated environments and good understanding of GMP requirements preferred
Skilled in project management, process validation, SAP, and operational excellence tools (FMEA, MSA) - a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong grasp of Root Cause Analysis
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Proven ability to lead teams through change and drive continuous improvement
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision
Able to perform physical tasks (bending, twisting, prolonged standing)
Willing to work non‑standard hours, including shifts and variable schedules
