Role
The job involves working for a Global fund administrator, specializing in administering assets of complex hedge funds. The position requires good experience and background in operations including familiarity with foreign exchange markets, back office settlements and cash functions. This person is proactive in resolving conflict and demonstrates exemplary follow-through. He/she adds value by working on a number of simultaneous tasks/projects with minimal supervision while paying special attention to detail. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator and works well with partner areas. Familiarity with SWIFT and FX markets, products and settlements is extremely beneficial.
Major DuTIES
- Monitor Portfolio Reconciliation for OTC and Repo trades on Trioptima
- Issue and Respond to all the margin calls for OTC, FUT, CCP and Repo trades.
- Reviewing the Cash entries created in Cash manager based on the margin calls
- Sending emails to Client for approval on the cash entries created
- Follow up with client and Counterparty in regarding the issue related to the margin calls.
- Review new client’s ISDA and CSA agreements to ensure accuracy of daily call processing
- Month-end collateral interest process
- Communicate effectively with team members, internal groups and external counterparties
- Develop action plan for resolution of outstanding issues
- Escalate issues that fall outside normal resolution timeframe
- Respond quickly and accurately to requests in a high volume, time sensitive trading environment.
- Communicate trade discrepancies to internal partners and assist in resolving mismatches between the client and its counterparties.
- Effectively communicate with IT to test and implement development and enhancements of our FX offering.
- Administer account implementation process and effectively communicate status to internal partners.
- Lead weekly meetings with Stamford partners and provide team with key management reporting to meet team objectives.
- Escalate issues and signoff on daily process requirements.
- Provide oversight to the Poseidon Cash & Collateral team in India, should be able to motivate & lead direct reports.
- Conducting regular one to one meetings to provide timely feedback to all the Direct Reports.
- Conducting performance appraisals for all the direct reports
- Team motivation and engagement
- Should be responsible for Daily work allocation to the team members
- Guiding the team members in their career growth.
- Ensuring all the team members concerns are addressed on a timely manner.
- Appropriate planning of time – offs for the team.
- Should be able to generate efficiencies within the team and effective utilization of resources.

- This role is for complete Night shift .

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in Financial Services environment, preferably in Middle Office function
- Experience with Hedge Funds, Investment Management and/or Financial Services strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or a quantitative discipline. Masters’ degree would be an advantage.
- Business exposure to Equity or Credit or at least some complex derivative products like CDS, IRS, TRS & other OTC products.
