Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Insurance Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.
Team Lead – Fiduciary Operations Billing team
Serve as a first-level leader overseeing the daily operations of a dedicated support team. You will ensure that established protocols, schedules, and service levels are consistently met while fostering an environment that promotes high-quality work and exceptional client service.
We will count on you to:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Billing team to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets.
- Manage daily workflows, ensuring adherence to company policies, service level agreements, and quality standards.
- Act as a primary point of contact for escalated client and broker inquiries, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Drive continuous process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Adapt quickly and effectively to constant changes in the insurance industry, regulatory environment, and internal processes.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in technology advancements, including artificial intelligence (AI), and leverage these tools to optimize workflows and improve service delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other value streams and departments to integrate new technologies and streamline operations.
- Monitor team performance metrics and provide regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, encouraging the team to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls related to insurance operations
What you need to have:
- A Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Minimum 6 years of experience in operations within insurance, financial services, or offshore processing organizations, with a proven track record in service delivery, including 2 years in a Team Lead position
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
