The opportunity

Seize this opportunity to be a part of Live Tank Breakers! As Team Lead for Global Product Support your will manage a team of specialists delivering expert technical support and maintenance leadership for our global portfolio of Live Tank Circuit Breakers. This role ensures top-level product performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction worldwide.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead with purpose: mentor and develop a global team of product support engineers specializing in Live Tank Circuit Breakers.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic support.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and sales to drive product improvements and address recurring field issues.
  • Oversee the creation, review, and distribution of technical documentation, service manuals, and training materials.
  • Deliver technical training to internal teams, partners, and customers on installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Manage overall global product support structure and budget coordination for Live Tank Breakers together with the Global Product Support Manager.
  • Overall responsibility for the maintenance of product master data for Live Tank Circuit Breaker products, including spare parts recommendations, obsolescence planning, and global service bulletins.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and internal processes across all support activities.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product support, field service, or engineering within power transmission and distribution.
  • Strong technical knowledge of high‑voltage live tank circuit breakers, including diagnostics and maintenance.
  • You balance a passion for leadership with a strong interest in technology; proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop technical teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in global environments.
  • Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and other relevant standards for high-voltage switchgear is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English required; Swedish strongly preferred; German or Spanish is an advantage.
  • Travel internationally to provide on-site support is required, ability to travel internationally up to 10%.
