Job Description
Team Lead – Electrical
Pune - India
As a Team Lead – Electrical you will be responsible to lead a team of twelve to fifteen Engineers and Sr. Engineers working on the engineering of LV MCC, customizing as per customer requirement utilizing the AutoCAD tools, support the manufacturing plants of RA. This role reports to Engineering Manager and is part of Global Engineering & Business Services group in India, catering to regional Rockwell Automation offices. It's a hybrid work environment working in 12:00pm to 9:00 pm shift located in Pune.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 12nos. - 15nos. Electrical Engineers / Sr. Engineers.
- Lead & drives functional excellence in engineering solution, provide knowledge- base, services and technical understanding for the LV MCC as per the industry standards and its regulatory requirements.
- Manage all aspect of project life cycle from pre-sale proposal support, engineering and site support if required.
- Deliver & execute the assigned projects on time with good quality/ cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's in Electrical / Electronics
- Relevant Experience of more than 10 years in Hardware Designing for LV MCC, Electrical knowledge and Automation Engineering
- Relevant Experience of more than 2 years in Leadership role
- Expertise of AutoCAD-Electrical software
- Working knowledge of Drives, PLC & MCC System Designing
- Thorough knowledge of DOL & S/D Starters, VFDs, Soft-Starters, Intelligent Motor Control, Safety Product's System Designing
- Knowledge of Electrical Components Selection, Busbar Calculation, Heat and Load Calculation
- In depth knowledge of International Standards used for Design and Manufacturing
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Field Installation & Commissioning experience on PCC's, MCC's, PLC's & Instruments is preferrable
- Gone through complete project life cycle from design phase to commissioning
- Good Command on SAP Documentation and Part Management
- Industry Knowledge, Application Knowledge, Training Skills, and basic understanding of Project Management, Lean Six Sigma Skill, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
- Experience on Panel Testing, I/O Testing and FAT
- Exposure to Global Stakeholders/Customers is preferrable
