The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Team Lead Business Unit Integrator for the Precision Stike organization (formerly Precision Engagement Systems) in Saint Charles, MO.
The Precision Strike organization is known for its expertise in producing and supporting precision munitions for the U.S. military and international allies. From the more than 550,000 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) tail kits Boeing has built, to the relentless sustainment and upgrade support it has provided its Harpoon System, Boeing’s expertise in precision strike systems extends throughout its varied product line. The company serves the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Marines, and many U.S. international allies by producing, integrating and supporting precise, long-range and focused munitions capabilities.
This role involves supporting multiple contracts within the Precision Strike portfolio and acting as the team lead overseeing multiple Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes, which includes coordination with program management, engineering, and supplier management, as well as presentations to Senior Executive Leadership. This candidate will also be responsible for leading the completion of Customer Data Requirements List (CDRLs), administration of Earned Value Management (EVM), and supporting the financial forecast and Long Range Business Plan.
Position Responsibilities:
Team lead for the Business Unit Integrators supporting Cruise Missile Systems
Initiates assignments and independently leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or EACs for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs
Prepares and reviews numerous Finance CDRLs including Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDARs), Cost Funds Status Report (CFSRs) and Cost Summary Data Report (CSDRs)
Oversees EVM processes related to production and support Precision Engagement Systems initiatives
Utilizes Cost, Schedule, Planning, and Reporting (CSPR) tools for Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits and ensure compliance with EVM and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) Contracts
Supports the financial forecast and leads the Long Range Business Plan process
Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
Provides finance support for current deliveries while strategically preparing for the demands of upcoming contracts
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher
5+ years of experience in a Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
3+ years of experience performing EACs
3+ years of experience leading a team or project
Experience with financial forecasting
Experience analyzing financial statements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of related work experience
3+ years of experience in EVM
Experience creating executive level presentations using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Experience supporting DFAR contracts
Experience with government audits
Experience working within an operations-facing finance team, acting as a Business Partner to Managers
Experience being a self-starter, comfortable with establishing required reporting drumbeats and processes
