Details of the Division and Team:
The IT Application Support (ITAS) has sound IT risk management skills. They follow one of a number of possible service delivery approaches, acknowledge interference with the IT application’s life cycle and assist with incorporating the adopted approach into best practice. The ITAS is aware of the gap in the current infrastructure solutions and where industry innovations are along the maturity lifecycle. They work with application stakeholders to improve the infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the technical roadmap.
The ITAS has a sound knowledge of development methodologies and the IT policies necessary to perform effectively in the organization, aligned to the bank’s appetite for risk. They act to improve safety and security of the application, compliance with regulations, policies, and standards, enhance operational readiness, and ease maintenance of the environment for delivering change into production.
The ITAS supports the bank’s audit function in the remediation of audit points and self-identified issues in order to reduce risk. They are responsible for producing and maintaining accurate documentation on compliance with methodologies, IT policies and IT security requirements. The ITAS interacts with and influences colleagues on the governance of IT platform reliability and resilience. The support staff must have the ability to interact with business users/IT Infrastructure/regional application team and is responsible for day-to-day smooth operation of local applications and providing support local and global applications.

Your key responsibilities:
1. Maintenance and Support of Local & Global Applications
New / existing applications; in-house developed or from vendor / regulator.
Support of payment processing system and local tax reporting application
Business case, business requirements, technical analysis
Vendor management for the delivery
Change Management, Version Control/Incident management/Capacity Management
Documentation of Application Key Operation Procedures
Maintain the global Application inventory database (NAR)
Business Continuity Management – local / regulatory / regional drill cycles
2. Co-ordination liaison for Regional or Global initiatives
Technical platform migration such as OS, Database, etc.
Coordinate with regional/global application team
Local industry or regulatory initiatives impacting DB applications.
3. Relationship Management with business and vendors for greater partnership collaboration
Your skills and experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience of supporting Banking payment application
Basic knowledge of UNIX, Wintel, SQL/Oracle database, Network, Windows OS
Strong interpersonal skills and sense of high responsibilities
Strong written and verbal communication skill in Korean and English language
Capability to cope with various requests made by Business.
