Job Description

The Appraisal Dispatcher is the catalyst to the success of the Appraisal Center of Excellence through internalization and maximizing efficiency of appraisals. Assignments are managed through the dispatcher in order to maximize resources efficiently, monitor and balance workload and as a result contribute to our Legendary Customer Experience.

As an Appraisal Dispatcher you will be required to complete the following on a day to day basis:

  • Organize all field appraisal/task requests in a logical manner based on the geography and capacity.

  • Dispatch appraisal assignments and photo based estimate as part of the distribution of claims to Appraisers and IA's.

  • Review claims to determine proper location/appraiser for file.

  • Assign claims to IA partners as required

  • Provide data regarding distribution of assignments to leadership team.

  • Redirect incorrect file assignment

  • Regularly collaborate with peers and leadership in the Auto PD and Residental claim teams

  • Regularly collarborate with preferred IA partners and Vendor Management.

  • Assign claims appraisal requests within WorkCenter and ClaimCenter

  • Work as a national dispatch group to ensure work level balance.

  • Dispatch files in a timely manner to continue drive legendary customer experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

  • Ability to manage competing priorities

  • Ability to identify possible gaps in process

  • Takes initiative to recommend process improvements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers as well as leadership team.

  • Ability to work in a self managed environment and can work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge of WorkCenter and Claims Centre is a definite asset.

  • Good understanding of regions where we provide support.

  • Flexibility in working hours when required.

  • Bilingual is preferred
