  • Conduct market and competitive research to support decision-making and inform senior specialists and Product Management on emerging needs in the tax technology landscape

  • Translate tax regulatory developments into clear summaries, product considerations, and field guidance that can be easily understood by Sales and Customer Success teams

Customer & Field Support

  • Participate in pre-sales discussions as a product SME, supporting value articulation, tax workflow mapping, and technical Q&A sessions with prospective clients

  • Deliver demonstrations, tailored tax workflow explanations, and product overviews that help accelerate customer understanding and adoption

  • Create and maintain enablement materials such as demonstration scripts, sales frequently asked questions (FAQs), and product overview presentations

Go-To-Market Collaboration

  • Support go-to-market execution by partnering with Product Marketing Management (PMM) on positioning, customer success stories, content development, and launch communications

  • Contribute to launch readiness through training sessions, demonstration environment setup, and field documentation to ensure Sales and Customer Success teams are fully prepared

Product Feedback & Lifecycle Execution

  • Gather customer feedback and usage insights; synthesize findings into product improvement recommendations for the Product Management team

  • Participate in beta testing, documentation review, and feature validation to ensure product quality and usability

  • Track product metrics with guidance from senior team members, helping identify risks and opportunities for product enhancement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Technology Support, and Customer Success to ensure coordinated customer experiences and seamless handoffs

  • Escalate patterns, blockers, or capability gaps with clear context and recommended next steps, demonstrating accountability and proactive problem-solving

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across different functions and geographies, incorporating diverse perspectives into your work

  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 8+ years of experience in tax technology, solution consulting, tax operations, or related product specialist roles.

  • Practical knowledge of at least one tax functional area (e.g., Withholding Tax processes, Tax Reporting workflows, or similar tax compliance areas)

  • Strong communication and presentation capabilities, particularly in customer-facing settings, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences and effectively respond to questions and concerns

  • Experience supporting sales conversations, product demonstrations, or technical discovery sessions with tax professionals

  • Ability to translate tax workflow requirements into structured product insights that can inform product development and enhancement

  • Comfort working with data, including dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer usage patterns to identify trends and opportunities

  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence, including the ability to recognize emotions, strengths, and weaknesses in yourself and others, and navigate these areas to create the best outcomes

  • Proven collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with colleagues across functions to achieve common goals and build consensus across groups with competing priorities

  • Strong time management abilities, including the capacity to plan and manage competing priorities and adapt as circumstances change

  • We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Big Four accounting firm, corporate tax department, or tax technology provider, which provides valuable context for understanding our customers' needs and challenges

  • Familiarity with product development processes and tools such as Jira (project tracking software) and Confluence (documentation platform)

  • Demonstrated adaptability, including the ability to make informed decisions and adjust to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment
