We are seeking a Tax Lawyer to join PwC Legal in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. This is a unique opportunity to apply your tax law expertise in a setting beyond the traditional law firm environment, while working on high-calibre advisory matters both in New Zealand and internationally.
In this role, you will collaborate across our broader practice and work closely with specialists from a range of service lines. This will give you valuable exposure to complex client issues and the opportunity to contribute to commercially focused, multidisciplinary solutions.
Within this team, your day to day responsibilities could include:
Advising clients on their tax affairs, particularly in our high net worth and private business client base
Managing and resolving tax audits and disputes with tax authorities
Assisting clients to obtain certainty through binding rulings
Collaborating with colleagues across teams to deliver integrated tax solutions
Keeping up to date with developments in tax law and regulatory change
Maintaining the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality
Mentoring and supporting junior team members
