Associated Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to support our corporate tax function. In this role, you will help ensure accurate and timely income tax compliance and reporting while contributing to the quarterly and annual tax provision process. Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare and maintain workpapers supporting federal, state, and local income tax filings.

  • Support the quarterly and annual income tax provision process, including data gathering and account reconciliations under ASC 740.

  • Analyze financial statements and general ledger data to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.

  • Track filing deadlines and maintain the tax calendar to ensure timely submissions.

  • Conduct tax research using RIA Checkpoint to support compliance and internal documentation.

  • Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from taxing authorities.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Partner with senior tax team members to deliver complete and accurate reporting.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 1+ years of federal and state corporate tax experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting firm.

  • Understanding of GAAP and introductory knowledge of ASC 740.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting tax provisions in a corporate environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.

$58,870.00 - $100,920.00 per year
