- You will drive new business growth for TAS products across structures covering Escrows, Corporate Debt, Private Credit, Project Finance, Loan Agency and Depositary Receipts. You will be responsible for driving and expanding TAS Sales efforts in the region, a specific focus on driving growth initiatives.

Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for sales & origination from India region across 1) Corporate Trust (Escrow, Loans Agency, Corporate Debt) and 2) Depositary Receipts product suite
- Work in conjunction with TSS/TAS Sales Organisation and TSS branch heads to ensure coordinated approach for origination / sales.
- Will be responsible for delivering new business revenues to TAS India with clearly defined revenue target.
- Create and influence the execution of calling plans and strategic sales initiatives, including the preparation of RfP responses, pricing approvals and tailored sales pitches.
- Develop relationships within the investment bank with key coverage teams to leverage bank relationships, representing the bank at industry conferences, seminars and awards.
- Develop and assist in driving the execution of strategic short and longer-term sales execution plans (e.g. new products, market sizing, buying center identification, priority targets) and sales campaigns (e.g. calling, bid activity) for growth areas, ensuring consistent tracking and accountability across the sales team
- Providing strategic oversight around the development of communication materials (e.g. pitch books, websites and online tools) to aid sales communication with internal and external audiences
- Supporting the ongoing relationship management of our DR client base with regards corporate actions and contract renewals
- Development of Investor Relations strategies, with our DR clients and prospects
- Responsibilities will include maintenance of account plans, coordination of senior client meetings, and working in conjunction with colleagues in Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) and across the bank for new business opportunities.
- Assist and coordinate internally and externally for client events and seminars, develop network of local market intermediary contacts (law firms, M&A advisors, I-Banks, IR firms etc)
- Collaborate across the bank’s core pillars (e.g. CB, IB, PB) to maximise referral opportunities to grow revenues
- Work with product teams to support in the execution of new business, assist in product benchmarking and competitive analysis
- Work to ensure adherence to applicable internal policies and external legal/regulatory frameworks.
Your skills and experience
- Minimum of 10 years of Trust and Agency services experience
- Sound knowledge of international capital market (Debt and Equity), trust, agency or custody services, and general transaction banking products
- 7+ years of origination experience focused on Private Equity Funds, Corporate Issuers and Borrowers, Asian Asset Managers, as well as with leading investment banks and other intermediaries
- Track record of positive client engagement, involving the entire sales cycle (access, bids, wins, closes)
- Existing relationships/established network with relevant intermediaries (law firms, IR firms, DCM/ECM Banks, M&A advisors)
- A proactive “can do” attitude, the ability to work independently and have a strong work ethic.
- An ability to forge strong relationships, both internally across the Bank and as a “trusted adviser” to senior level personnel at key clients.
- A collaborative, communicative and partnership-based approach to working with colleagues across Corporate Bank and bank wide.
- Proven success in managing stakeholders within a matrix environment.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization skills and the ability to act independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the risk control and compliance frameworks required in banking industry.
