The Talent Sourcer is responsible for proactively identifying and sourcing candidates for technical and non-technical positions. This role partners with the recruiting team and hiring leaders to define sourcing strategies, create lead generation, and identify new channels to source top candidates.  The Talent Sourcer  ensures an exceptional candidate experience and seamless transition from sourcing to recruiter hand-off.  

Essential Functions  

  • Define and execute customized sourcing strategies using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS/CRM tools, referrals, and market research.   

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and align sourcing strategies with workforce plans.  

  • Proactively identify and engage passive talent pools, delivering qualified, interested and available candidates to recruiters and hiring managers.  

  • Source active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, job boards, associations, internal databases, and employee referrals.  

  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements and business needs.  

  • Leverage ATS data and metrics (outreach response rates, time to engage, source of hire, etc.) through regular reporting to measure effectiveness for all roles. 

  • Leverage sourcing tools (i.e., LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox) and ensure accurate records in ATS (Workday).  

  • Consistently identify and attract high performing talent to the organization, ensuring compliance with organization policy and government regulatory guidelines.  

  • Work closely with external search agencies as needed to support hiring needs.  

  • May work with recruiting and compensation partners in defining roles, identifying job requirements, creating interview guides, and assessing candidate alignment.  

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's in business, information technology, Human Resources or related field.  

  • 2-4 years’ technical sourcing or recruiting experience in professional or technical environments across a broad array of disciplines; Fintech and Information Security preferred.  

  • Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates through multiple channels (i.e., Boolean, LinkedIn, social media networking, and other alternative search techniques).  

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday.  

  • Ability to utilize intuition and natural relationship skills to quickly connect with candidates at all career levels, assess talent, and guide effective hiring decisions  

  • Ability to deliver results and effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and candidates  

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to network within the industry to identify top performers.  

  • High degree of professionalism and confidentiality  

  • Background and drug screen.

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ in USD per year is: $66,000 - $82,000.


Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.

Physical Requirements 

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
