Talent Partner

Spring, Texas, United States of America Full time
Talent Partner

Description -

About the Role

The Global Talent & Learning team provides learning and development solutions that unlock the potential of our employees, foster innovation, and enable HP to fulfill its mission. We are seeking a Talent Partner to work closely with senior leaders, executive talent acquisition, and HR business partners to strengthen leadership pipelines and ensure the organization has the talent needed to succeed today and in the future. This role focuses on executive talent (VP+) and plays a critical part in succession planning, leadership development, and talent strategy.

The Talent Partner operates as a trusted advisor and connector, helping leaders make informed, holistic, forward-looking talent decisions by combining data, insight, and strong business understanding. This is a strategic, consultative role—not a transactional HR position or a program delivery role. This role will report to the Senior Director, Executive Development.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with senior business leaders, executive talent acquisition, and HR partners on leadership talent, succession, and development.

  • Facilitate thoughtful, high-impact discussions about leadership readiness, potential, and future capability needs.

  • Translate business priorities into clear talent implications, including leadership capabilities, experiences, and skills required for success.

  • Leverage talent data and qualitative insights to inform recommendations and guide leadership decisions.

  • Support and advance scalable talent practices such as succession planning and development planning through consultation and thought partnership.

  • Act as a connector across leaders, HR partners, and talent teams to ensure alignment and follow-through.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose organizational talent needs and translate them into practical solutions.

  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort working with data and qualitative insights.

  • Ability to influence without authority and build trust with senior leaders in a matrixed environment.

  • Strong executive communication skills.

  • Experience in talent management, HR business partnering, leadership development, or human capital consulting.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to operate effectively in ambiguity.

The pay range for this role is $121,950 to $180,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
