The Talent Management Specialist provides operational, administrative, and analytical support to enterprise-wide talent management processes, including succession planning, assessments, coaching, and annual talent cycles.
This role partners closely with the Senior Manager - Leadership & Succession Strategy, the Senior Manager - Talent Management Processes & Governance, other COE teams, HR Business Partners, and HR Shared Services to ensure seamless and accurate execution of enterprise talent programs.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders and systems in a fast‑paced HR environment — consistent with typical enterprise expectations (e.g., training admin, reporting, and process support functions).
Key Responsibilities
Talent Process Execution & Coordination
- Manage assessment and coaching requests from HR and business leaders, ensuring accurate intake, tracking, and SLA adherence.
- Support annual talent cycles (Performance, Potential, Development, Succession), including scheduling, logistics, follow‑ups, and maintaining process documentation.
- Coordinate and support calls, live training, and working sessions with Talent Partners and HR teams to ensure clarity, readiness, and process compliance.
Training Materials & Communication
- Develop and maintain training materials, guides, and resources related to talent assessment, succession, calibration, and performance review processes.
- Prepare and distribute communications and toolkits for managers and HR partners during talent cycles — aligned with best practices in communications planning at scale (e.g., communications plan partnership and deliverables).
- Maintain SharePoint and MyEcolab with updated talent management documentation, knowledge content and process guides.
Systems, Reporting & Troubleshooting
- Partner with COEs (Data Analytics, HRIS, GBS/HRSD) to troubleshoot reporting, dashboard, and WD system issues related to talent processes.
- Run recurring talent process reports and compile insights for Talent COE and HR leadership.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Maintain SOPs, process maps, job aids, and workflow documentation to ensure process consistency.
- Track SLA compliance and operational metrics for core TM processes.
- Support cross-functional initiatives across Talent COE, including global programs, process improvements, technology pilots, and talent data readiness initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related field — widely preferred in external benchmarks.
- 2-4 years of experience in HR operations, HR coordination, talent management, or similar roles.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working in HR systems (e.g., Workday, SharePoint, Visier).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to create clean, clear training materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or demonstrated interest in using AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to simplify and automate routine tasks such as documentation, communications, scheduling, reporting, and process support.
- Interest in leveraging technology and automation to continuously improve HR operations and talent processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise HR cycles (performance, talent review, assessments, succession).
- Exposure to data analysis or HR reporting.
- Familiarity with Workday and MyEcolab.
