Overall Purpose

The Talent Management Analyst drives the development and application of AI-enabled tools that address practical talent management challenges, with a focus on building solutions that enhance manager effectiveness and improve outcomes across the employee lifecycle. The position also contributes to the execution and continuous improvement of core talent processes by providing analytical support, project coordination, and tools that strengthen programs such as performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the development of AI-enabled tools for talent management: Assist in researching, prototyping, and testing AI-based solutions that help managers with goal setting, feedback synthesis, and practicing performance conversations.

  • Contribute to the design and improvement of talent management programs: Help build and refine tools, templates, and resources that support core processes such as performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and high-potential identification.

  • Assist in executing core talent processes: Support planning and coordination for key annual and cyclical processes (e.g., goal setting, performance reviews, talent reviews, succession planning), including timeline tracking and stakeholder communication.

  • Develop reports and presentation materials: Create toolkits, executive summaries, and slide decks to communicate outcomes and insights (e.g., capability gaps) from talent initiatives and processes; develops and reports KPIs as part of core talent practice management.

  • Assist with project coordination and implementation: Support projects from design through execution, including gathering requirements, tracking progress, coordinating pilots, and documenting results and learnings.

  • Conduct research on emerging talent practices: Synthesize academic research, industry trends, and best practices to inform new approaches to talent management, including novel uses of AI or other emerging technology.
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors- or Masters-level degree program in industrial-organizational psychology, human resources management, learning and development, or related field

  • Understanding of/exposure to talent management or learning and development concepts and tools (e.g., performance management, succession planning, talent assessment, development planning, etc.)

  • Expertise using spreadsheet and data analysis software (e.g., MS Excel)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to build good working relationships with others in a professional setting; possesses strong collaboration skills

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic environments; possesses strong judgment and analytical thinking skills

  • Sense of urgency and ability to drive initiatives to closure

  • Able to work autonomously and on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Background and drug screen

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers. Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation.

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ in USD per hour is: $28 - $33.
New York, NY in USD per hour is: $34 - $40.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
