Essential Job Statements
Develop and implement company-wide wellbeing and retention initiatives.
Develop Workforce Wellness committees throughout the Enterprise.
Conduct needs assessments to determine areas for improvement in employee well-being.
Design and deliver engagement and retention trainings and workshops for employees.
Evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support employee well- being, engagement, and recognition initiatives.
Track and analyze data related to employee wellbeing and present reports to management.
Ensure responsibility and visible commitment of diversity, equity and inclusion strategy, programs, and initiatives through collaboration and implementation of initiatives across the health system.
Perform other duties as assigned and/or participates in special projects in order to support the mission of VCUHS and the Human Resources Department.

Employment Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Human Resources, or closely related field
Combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree preferred.

Minimum Qualifications
Years and Type of Required Experience
5 years of Employee Wellbeing/Organizational Development experience.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Strong knowledge of wellness/engagement industry trends and best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to build relationships and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
