Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in people operations primarily focus on managing the people lifecycle and the day-to-day operational tasks related to managing employees. This includes activities such as employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce.

Those in human resource operations at PwC will focus on all areas of Human Resources and the business in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities. You will be a primary HR point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with HR protocols and guidelines, as well as be part of a team of problem solvers that help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

A career in People Operations, within Business Services, delivers transactional and strategic support across the entire human capital lifecycle. You’ll focus on helping the local offices in driving the Firm’s people strategy, creating a unique people experience for each individual, and supporting our Firm-wide values by working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and Firm-wide success in the marketplace. Our Human Resources teams support initiatives and programmes across 5 enablement teams; Talent Acquisition Enablement, Deployment Enablement, Talent Enablement Center, People Operations Enablement and Mobility Enablement. 

 

Job Requirements and Preferences: 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

 

Minimum Degree Required: 

High School Diploma 

 

Minimum Years of Experience: 

2-3 year(s) of relevant experience 

 

Basic Knowledge/Skills: 

Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:   

  • Provide administrative support   

  • Maintain quality control standards compliant with policies   

  • Create and maintain process documentation   

  • Utilizing relevant technology, such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Alteryx and other firm sponsored web-based technologies   

  • Working with confidential data   

  • Managing multiple projects and tasks   

  • Adapting to a rapidly changing environment   

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements   

  • Providing tactical support that enables the team to deliver operational efficiency and effectiveness

Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:   

  • Ability to analyze escalation, resolve issues and team with management to improve ongoing processes, aligning with strategic transformation efforts    

  • Making decisions and solving problems independently, expectation to consult with a supervisor on more difficult issues 

  • Performing a variety of reporting and analysis   

  • Managing multiple work streams by independently, determining priority of tasks  

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
