Position Summary
The Pennant Talent Acquisition team is looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist that will play a critical role in building relationships with the field to build out stronger processes, and resources across all service lines. Reporting to the Director of Recruiting, this role partners to elevate brand awareness and reputation, strengthen hiring practices, and enhance recruitment resources to improve the candidate and hiring manager experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist develops scalable recruitment infrastructure, optimizes ATS workflows, and leads initiatives that ensure consistent, high quality hiring outcomes throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Training, Best Practices & Hiring Manager Enablement
Work to create templates that outline recruiting and interview training best practices to share with leaders across all service lines.
Create Hiring Manager Interview Guides, interview tools, and best practice resources.
Partner with the field leaders to rollout interview best practices, evaluation tools, and service line specific support
Tools, Templates & Resource Development
Develop and maintain critical recruitment resources
Partner with HRIS and Director of Recruiting to optimize our Workday → Indeed job feed for accuracy and maximum job visibility.
Lead the standardization of job descriptions and job postings templates, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with our employer brand.
Serve as a Workday process advocate, identifying gaps, recommending enhancements, and improving hiring workflows.
Partnership with the Director of Recruiting
Partner closely with the Director of Recruiting to:
Strengthen overall brand awareness through digital channels, school partnerships, and strategic recruiting initiatives.
Identify opportunities to enhance recruitment operations and department processes.
Align recruitment projects with broader Talent Acquisition and organizational goals.
New Recruiter Onboarding & Backup Recruitment Support
Serve as backup support to the recruiting team during high volume periods or workload gaps.
Help train new recruiters on systems, workflows, best practices, and brand aligned recruitment processes.
Assist in developing and maintaining recruiting metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to support data driven decision making.
Recruitment Strategy & Future Focused Initiatives
Expand recruitment resources (e.g., Betterleap, therapy specific platforms, industry events).
Build comprehensive Recruitment Guides outlining agency workflows, resource use, and communication processes.
Partner with Director of recruiting and social media to implement recruitment initiatives, including campaign templates and content guidance.
Help build partnerships with schools, healthcare associations, and community organizations to expand pipelines and visibility.
Support continued improvement of onboarding processes for a cohesive new hire experience.
External Partnerships & Vendor Management
Help expand the organization’s relationship with Indeed, including:
Partnering with Indeed representatives
Leading out on reputation management and indeed company page best practices
Enhancing job performance and visibility
Delivering internal training on Indeed tools and resources
Using platform data to drive hiring strategy and job optimization
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, or HR Operations.
Experience building recruiting processes, templates, and training materials.
Proficiency with ATS systems (Workday preferred).
Strong communication and relationship building skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

Location: Remote
Compensation: $85,000-95,000
