Working in this role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of Retail learning at ING, setting the standard for a digital learning experience and aligning across a complex stakeholder group to deliver a consistent, best-in-class experience at Enterprise level.
You will be working closely with the Global Retail Academy Lead, a senior leader learning steerco, leads of 10+ global (business) Academies, CPS learning team, all country and domain experts and learning teams. Also, you will work independently with full end-to-end ownership of your projects.
In this role, you'll get to:

  • Own the design and development of a significantly upgraded ING digital learning experience- a key enabler to effective business-driven upskilling and reskilling. Implement in the new global Retail Academy; including delivering learning design standards, brand alignment, user interface, consistent evaluation framework, data infrastructure and reporting.

  • Develop and maintain a clear and up-to-date curriculum/portfolio, including clear access to and communication in the appropriate learning technology. Manage the content design, development and/or curation process, in line with quality standards, coordinating work of stakeholders involved

  • Steer the implementation of global learning technology stack. Define business requirements for new technology and advise on technical requirements, including complex data infrastructure to drive more personalised learning experience and integration with talent management, performance management and career development. Effectively manage vendor relationships to ensure value for money

  • Ensure full adoption of new learning standards and fully optimised new learning investments, including owning, designing and delivering tailored upskilling programs. Accountable for digital learning reporting, data analysis and evaluation, to steer interventions and provide clear, relevant insights on results.

  • Provide specialist learning advice across domains, countries & academies, leveraging global frameworks and standards, assessing & resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.

  • +5 years of experience in digital learning & development, ideally in a corporate matrix organization environment

  • Instructional design skills / proven experience in design and development of blended learning programs

  • Experience with enterprise level learning solutions, skills models and their practical application, and industry leading learning platforms, technologies, tools.

  • Preferably experience in the banking industry or retail

  • Strong analytical skills and proven experience in visualizing data and making data driven decisions

  • Strong project management skills; proven experience creating impact via company-wide projects across global locations.

  • Fluent in English (both verbally and written) C1 level
