Job Summary

This role is responsible for hiring staff for different jobs at ServiceSource and its affiliates. Because each affiliate or contract has unique requirements, the duties for this position might concentrate more on some aspects than others listed below.

Primary Duties

  • Carry out recruitment activities including posting jobs, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, completing background checks, checking references, extending offers, dispositioning candidates, etc. Work with individuals with disabilities, funding sources, or referral agencies to ensure all required documentation is provided, especially for AbilityOne Program direct labor positions.

  • Communicate promptly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders to include candidates, hiring managers, HR Partners, referral sources, etc.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

  • Complete or ensure completion of required documentation. Documentation may include hiring manager input form, phone screens, candidate evaluation forms, etc.

  • Work flexible hours, when needed, which may include weekends and evenings.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Prepare offer letters.

  • Write phone screening and interview questions when needed.

  • Ensure that the hiring manager completes the candidate evaluation.

  • Ensure that the selected candidate meets the minimum qualifications stated on the job posting before making a verbal offer.

  • Adjudicate the background check results.

  • Disposition all non-selected candidates.

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.

  • Minimum two years of recruiter experience required.

  • Associate degree in a related field can substitute for two years of recruiter experience.

  • Experience using any major applicant tracking system, human resources system and/or its recruiting module, for example, SAP, Greenhouse, ADP, Taleo, PeopleSoft, ICIMS, or Workday highly preferred.

  • Strong written communication skills, including composing and editing clear, professional job descriptions.

  • Strong verbal communication skills, able to speak clearly and professionally.

  • Attention to detail, including reviewing and correcting one’s own work.

  • Interpersonal skills, including transparency, tactfulness, and diplomacy.

  • Ability to solve problems by working directly and collaboratively with others in a neutral, direct, and positive way.

  • Work well independently and as a contributing member of the team.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

  • Ability to learn and become proficient in the HRIS system.
