About The Role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports and advances Sandstone Care’s talent acquisition strategy by partnering with leaders and the People & Empowerment team to attract, identify, and hire high-quality talent across the organization. This role is responsible for working with our People Partners to support full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles while contributing to broader talent acquisition initiatives including workforce insights, employer branding, early talent development, and recruiting analytics. Working closely with our People Partners and hiring managers, the Talent Acquisition Specialist helps ensure efficient hiring processes, strong candidate experience, and effective recruiting strategies that support organizational growth and workforce stability.
Primary Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
- Support regional recruiting efforts in partnership with People Partners and hiring leaders, assist with sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate engagement, and offer preparation as needed.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and talent outreach to support current and future hiring needs.
- Assist hiring teams throughout the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, facilitating candidate communication, and ensuring a positive and timely candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Partner with People Partners to ensure recruiting efforts align with workforce planning priorities and staffing needs across the organization.
Strategy & Analytics
- Support the execution of Sandstone Care’s talent acquisition strategy by identifying sourcing opportunities, improving recruiting workflows, and contributing to recruiting initiatives.
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics such as pipeline activity, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness.
- Develop reports and recruiting insights to support workforce planning and inform hiring strategies.
- Monitor labor market trends and recommend adjustments to sourcing strategies when appropriate.
Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline Development
- Support employer branding initiatives that strengthen Sandstone Care’s visibility as an employer of choice across digital platforms, recruiting events, and candidate touchpoints.
- Partner with marketing and the People & Empowerment Team to highlight Sandstone Care’s culture, mission, and career opportunities.
- Assist with early talent initiatives including internships, campus partnerships, and outreach to emerging professionals.
- Participate in job fairs, networking events, and community partnerships to expand Sandstone Care’s talent pipeline.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree in a related field is strongly preferred
Training & Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, recruiting, or a related talent function.
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, candidate screening, interview coordination, and candidate engagement.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates while managing multiple open roles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to support recruiting strategy and workforce planning initiatives.
- Experience developing recruiting analytics and leveraging data to improve hiring outcomes.
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to employer branding, sourcing strategy, or talent pipeline initiatives.
- Ability to partner with People Partners and leadership on complex or high-priority hiring needs.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor or guide other recruiters or sourcing specialists when needed
