Position Overview

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist – Product & Technology to join our fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment here in Hungary! Diligent is scaling rapidly, and we’re continuing to build a world-class recruitment function that supports our expansion across Europe and beyond.

This role will be based in Budapest and will work as part of a dynamic, collaborative global TA team. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Design leaders to attract and hire top technical talent, from software engineers and product managers to UX specialists and AI experts, while delivering an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys building relationships with business leaders, and wants to have a real impact on shaping the teams driving our next generation of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design leaders to understand business needs, role requirements, and hiring priorities across multiple teams and tech domains.
  • Own end-to-end recruitment delivery for technical roles, from sourcing and screening through to offer negotiation and onboarding handover.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to engage passive technical talent across Hungary and wider EMEA, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other channels.
  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Diligent’s values and brand.
  • Use data and market insights to influence hiring decisions and advise leaders on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.
  • Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers, acting as a consultative talent advisor
  • Manage recruitment systems (Greenhouse ATS and other tools), ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the global TA team on key projects and initiatives — employer branding, DEI, candidate experience, and process improvements.
  • Represent Diligent externally by networking with tech talent, attending meetups, and building awareness of Diligent’s employer brand in the Hungarian market.

Required Experience / Skills

  • Proven experience recruiting across engineering and/or product disciplines within technology, SaaS, or fast-scaling environments.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring software engineers, technical leaders, or other specialist tech talent in Hungary and wider EMEA.
  • Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle and a proactive, consultative approach to partnering with business stakeholders.
  • Experience using modern recruitment tools (e.g. Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, technical sourcing platforms).
  • Skilled in market mapping, direct sourcing, and engaging passive candidates.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and deliver in a fast-moving, global environment.
  • Collaborative mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for delivering results.
