Job Overview

We’re looking for a Talent Specialist to join our People team and support global recruitment in our fast-moving growth-focused SaaS organisation. This role has a particular focus on technical roles in Engineering and Product, and you’ll work closely with hiring managers, including our CTO, to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional candidate experience.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced technical recruiter to bring their expertise, make fast impact, and help us grow our team. someone developing their recruitment career who wants to gain exposure to technical hiring and contribute to a fast-moving SaaS environment.

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Review and optimise our talent acquisition processes and resources for technical talent
  • Build job descriptions, job ad templates, interview questions, and tasks in central hubs
  • Proactively source and engage candidates with guidance, focusing on building diverse pipelines
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and share insights with the relevant Hiring Manager
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including interview scheduling to ensure a seamless candidate experience that optimises for top talent
  • Support the candidate referral program by engaging employees and following up on referrals
  • Maintain accurate reporting and data hygiene within internal systems
  • Partner with the people team and leadership to build our employer brand via online resources and online communities 
  • Take initiative to spot and share feedback or learnings on recruitment practices, suggesting improvements in day-to-day recruitment activities across all functions
  • Contribute to inclusive hiring by encouraging diverse perspectives and ensuring equitable candidate experiences

🎨 What You Bring

  • Recruitment Experience – Previous extensive experience in technical recruitment for a SaaS company, and experience with candidates across both the AU and US markets
  • Tools and Systems – Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Greenhouse and scheduling tools like GoodTime
  • Candidate Sourcing – Ability to use platforms like LinkedIn, Slack channels, job boards, and online communities to identify candidates
  • Candidate Experience – Strong communication skills and a candidate-first approach
  • Attention to Detail – Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Collaboration – Comfortable working as part of a distributed team and contributing to shared goals
  • Resilience - Able to manage a fast-moving startup environment where systems and processes are at times fluid and under construction
  • Growth Mindset – Eager to help build out systems and processes and bring others along the journey
