Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer, you will support the identification and engagement of top talent for Accordion.  In this role, you’ll build core sourcing skills, gain insight into the talent market, and partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to drive high-impact hiring across all departments and all levels (Analyst through Managing Director).  Your work will help bring exceptional talent into the firm, fueling our ability to deliver lasting solutions to clients across practices and functions. 

This exciting opportunity will start on a temporary basis (3-month contract), with the potential to convert to full-time employment depending on performance and organizational priorities. This position can be based in any of our US office locations (ideally NYC, Chicago, or Dallas based on where the Talent Acquisition team currently sits) and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week.

What You’ll Do:

As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Building robust and high-quality talent pipelines across our practices within the office of the CFO, maintaining ongoing communication with high-demand professionals to ensure readiness for immediate openings and future opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the recruiters to identify top talent by executing on desired sourcing strategy
  • Use a variety of sourcing methods such as LinkedIn, Boolean searches, databases, job boards, etc., as well as relevant AI-related tools, to build out and maintain strong talent pipelines across our key consulting practice areas
  • Develop search strategies based on the role requirements and market dynamics
  • Become the subject matter expert in gaining a deep understanding of the talent landscape across peer firms that includes building a competitive intelligence knowledge base of companies and candidates
  • Manage talent pool activity and create data centric updates with the recruiters to help push out broader communication with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records in our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse)
  • Revamp and create thoughtful job descriptions as necessary

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, recruiting, and/or a research-focused role
  • Exposure to consulting, private equity, or professional services through coursework, internships, or project work
  • Strong research and internet navigation skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments with shifting priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-growth environment

  • Knowledgeable about the relationship between Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, particularly within the office of the CFO
  • Willing to get your hands dirty in the details of a project while simultaneously seeing the bigger picture

  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic

This position will begin as a temporary role, paid hourly between $35 - $40 per hour + overtime eligible, with the potential to convert to full-time employment depending on performance and organizational priorities.

Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
