As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will serve as a critical driver of our hiring strategy, leading full-cycle recruitment efforts with a primary focus on high-volume hiring, while also supporting corporate and leadership-level roles. This role requires a balance of operational excellence and strategic influence—ensuring we can efficiently scale frontline talent while elevating hiring outcomes across corporate functions.

You will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to deeply understand workforce needs, proactively build talent pipelines, and deliver high-quality hiring outcomes in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead end-to-end recruiting efforts across a high-volume requisition load, while also managing corporate and leadership searches. Ensure efficiency, consistency, and a best-in-class candidate experience while meeting or exceeding time-to-fill and quality-of-hire metrics.

  • Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing methods, including direct outreach, job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals. Continuously engage passive talent for both immediate and future hiring needs.

  • Hiring Events & Talent Engagement: Plan and execute hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives to support volume hiring goals and strengthen employer brand presence in key markets.

  • Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders by providing market insights, talent trends, and data-driven recommendations. Develop strategic hiring plans that align with both high-volume demands and specialized corporate hiring needs. Build trust and credibility with every interaction. 

  • Optimize Recruitment Processes: Be a change-maker! You’ll implement creative solutions to streamline the hiring process, remove bottlenecks, and make it more efficient.  

  • Candidate Experience Excellence: Champion a seamless, transparent, and engaging candidate journey, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience across all touchpoints—particularly critical in high-volume environments.

  • Equity & Inclusion: Embed equitable and inclusive hiring practices into all recruiting activities. Partner with hiring managers to ensure fair and consistent evaluation processes, mitigate bias, and support the creation of a more inclusive workforce.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience with demonstrated success in high-volume hiring environments, along with exposure to corporate and/or leadership roles.

  • Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (Workday preferred).

  • Proven ability to source, engage, and convert passive candidates

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver insights, training, and hiring recommendations to business leaders.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.

  • Ability to operate with agility in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

WHAT THE JOB REQUIRES:

  • Hybrid work model: 4 days in-office (Monday–Thursday) at Essex’s corporate office in Irvine, CA. The hybrid policy is subject to change at Essex’s sole discretion.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting with tight deadlines.

  • Frequent use of standard office equipment and prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

  • Travel across the West Coast (NorCal & PNW) for hiring events, meetings, and business needs.

New hires generally start between $73,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.

This role is also eligible to participate in Essex’s discretionary Annual Bonus program that is commensurate with the level of the position.
