Talent Acquisition Partner

Embleton, WA Full Time

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growth-focused private group.

This is an important role responsible for building the high-performance team to deliver our growth strategy. You will be a key part of our small People team, ensuring every hire reflects our A-Player standards. In this role, recruitment is not a back-office function; it is a respected, high-trust strategic engine with the budget, tools, and mandate to secure the very best talent in the market.

The Role

Your mission is to run a disciplined hiring engine that identifies and secures A-Players (defined as top-10% for role at pay grade). You will act as a trusted advisor to our Hiring Managers, providing the expert counsel and pipeline visibility needed to grow our businesses.

  • Campaign Execution: Execute multi-channel hiring campaigns and optimize workflows in our ATS (Lever) to ensure a high-performance talent funnel.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Master the "headhunter" approach; leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and AI-sourcing platforms to identify and secure passive talent.
  • Evaluation Process: Lead a rigorous evaluation process using a structured approach, the best tools, and judgment to make decisions with all data available.
  • Candidate Concierge: Own the end-to-end journey for all talent, ensuring a sophisticated, professional, and high-touch experience at every point.
  • Collaborative Partnering: Work closely with the Founder, GM, and Hiring Managers to provide pipeline visibility and expert counsel.

We are currently a team of approximately 115 people across our businesses, with a growth strategy that involves adding 20-30 new A-Players per year across senior, technical, and specialist roles.

You will report to the People & Performance Manager as part of a small, high-trust team.

Who You Are

You are a sharp, methodical recruiter who takes pride in finding "the best" talent rather than just the "best available".

  • Recruiting Experience: 5-10+ years of recruitment experience (ideally internal focused) with a track record of hiring a wide variety of roles, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, etc.
  • Problem-Solving Detective: You possess the smarts to solve complex hiring challenges, using a "hunter" mindset to find passive talent while maintaining factual and objective judgment.
  • Unpretentious Professional: A high-level operator happy to "roll up your sleeves" and handle the end-to-end process within a small, high-performing team.
  • Core Values Fit: You are aligned with our Beaver Core Values: https://www.beaverprocess.com.au/careers/.

What’s Special About This Role?

This is a rare opportunity to join a business where recruitment is genuinely valued. You will have the strategic backing, tools, and resources required to make a real difference building a high-performing team.

  • Strategically Valued: Recruitment at Beaver is a highly valued and strategically important function that drives our growth, not a back-office admin task.
  • Quality Over Volume: We prioritize hiring the right A-Player over volume or speed metrics; we value depth of judgment over just "putting bums on seats".
  • Stimulating, Flexible Role: We seek the right person first. This is challenging, interesting work that is available as either a Full-Time or Permanent Part-Time (Mon-Fri) position.
  • Proven Process & Tools: You will have a professional tech stack already in place - including our ATS (Lever), LinkedIn Recruiter, evaluation tools (PI, OMG), and AI-based sourcing tools.
  • Direct Senior Influence: You will work directly with our Founder, GM, and various Hiring Managers as a trusted talent partner.
  • Convenient NOR Location: Modern Embleton office with free on-site parking and a location that avoids CBD traffic and parking costs.

Logistics

  • Location: Embleton, Perth (Office-based).
  • Role Type: Full-Time or Permanent Part-Time (Mon-Fri) with flexibility for when life happens.

How to Apply

Apply with your resume and a targeted cover letter (in your own words) addressing:

  • Your Interest: Why does our "A-Player" talent philosophy appeal to you?
  • Your Suitability: Why are you the right person for this opportunity based on your experience and capability?
  • Your Professional Needs: What do you want from your professional role and what is important to you?
