The People Acquisition team partners with leaders across The Aerospace Corporation to attract, engage, and hire the exceptional talent that powers our mission. We are looking for a driven, full-cycle Talent Acquisition Partner (Talent Acquisition II/II) to join our team and own recruitment for a portfolio of niche, highly technical roles across the enterprise.
In this role, you will serve as a true talent advisor, partnering closely with hiring managers, Strategic People Partners, and leaders across the enterprise to shape the hiring strategy and deliver results. You will build deep relationships with your client groups, bring market intelligence and creative sourcing approaches to every search, and guide engineering and technical hires from kickoff through offer acceptance, including candidates who hold or are eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. We are looking for someone driven, consultative, and energized by the opportunity to influence hiring decisions that have a direct impact on the work we deliver.
This position is located in Chantilly, VA., and requires at least 4 days onsite.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage full-cycle recruitment for a portfolio of niche and technical positions, partnering closely with a defined client group to deliver against hiring goals
Build and execute creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, and other talent platforms to identify candidates who hold or are eligible to obtain U.S. government security clearances
Serve as a true talent advisor to hiring managers and partners across the enterprise, shaping hiring strategy, providing labor market intelligence, calibrating candidates, and influencing decisions throughout the hiring process
Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with hiring managers, Strategic People Partners, Compensation, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive aligned, efficient hiring outcomes
Maintain disciplined desk management, prioritizing requisitions, driving candidates through the pipeline, and ensuring data integrity and timely activity in Workday
Deliver an outstanding candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance, representing The Aerospace Corporation’s mission and culture with enthusiasm
Track and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and sourcing effectiveness, using data to continuously refine your approach and inform your client conversations
What You Need To Be Successful
Minimum Requirements for the Talent Acquisition Staff II include:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
Three or more years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience, including demonstrated success supporting niche or hard-to-fill roles
Hands-on experience recruiting for engineering and technical positions
Proven proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, and other modern sourcing tools and Boolean search techniques
Experience using Workday as the primary applicant tracking system is required
Demonstrated desk management skills, the ability to prioritize requisition load, maintain momentum, and deliver consistent results
Experience supporting a dedicated client base, building credibility with hiring managers, and influencing through strong consultative partnership
A driven, consultative mindset, enthusiastic about partnering with leaders, comfortable influencing hiring decisions, and energized by complex, high-visibility searches
In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for the Talent Acquisition Staff III include:
Six or more years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience, including demonstrated success supporting niche or hard-to-fill roles
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
Previous in-house recruiting experience at a defense contractor or technology company, or agency-side experience at a staffing or executive search firm
Knowledge of federal government hiring practices, including familiarity with security clearance levels (Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI) and cleared talent markets
Experience recruiting for FFRDCs, government contractors, or other cleared environments
Experience identifying and engaging candidates who hold active security clearances or are eligible to obtain one
Recruiter certifications such as AIRS (CIR, PRC), SHRM-CP, or PHR
Experience building pipelines and partnering on early-career or university recruiting initiatives

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
