Position Summary

Watchmaker is inviting applications for the full-time position of Talent Acquisition Coordinator based in Boulder, Colorado. 

This position reports to our Business Partner, People & Culture. We are looking for a highly organized and analytical individual to join our People and Culture (Human Resources) team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that recruitment is competitive, compliant, and aligned with our organizational goals. With a focus on supporting full-cycle recruitment operations and enhancing the candidate experience, perform key coordination activities that streamline hiring processes, strengthen communication, and ensure our recruitment practices remain competitive, compliant, and data-driven, and help optimize our overall growth strategy. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall employee experience by ensuring our compensation and benefits offerings are both fair and impactful. 

This is an onsite/in-office position with flexibility to work from home one day a week.

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews, scheduling candidate assessments, and maintaining consistent communication with applicants throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage job postings across internal and external platforms to ensure accuracy, visibility, and alignment with hiring strategy.
  • Maintain the Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring timely updates, accurate data entry, and strong reporting hygiene.
  • Partner closely with the Business Partner, People & Culture, as well as hiring managers, to support role kickoff meetings, clarify requirements, and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring workflow.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience.
  • Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, candidate pipeline progress, hiring stages, etc.) and support People & Culture leadership with routine reporting and analysis.
  • Support employer branding initiatives such as career site updates, recruitment events, job fairs, and external partnerships.
  • Assist with global hiring needs by coordinating across time zones, ensuring documentation is aligned with company standards, and supporting international recruitment processes as needed.
  • Collaborate on People & Culture projects related to process improvements, documentation, compliance, and employee experience initiatives

Skills and Requirements

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of relevant HR or recruitment coordination experience (post college). Experience in biotech and a start-up environment are highly desirable.

  • Proficiency with Google Suite and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HRIS tools.
  • General understanding of HR processes, compliance considerations, and employment best practices.
  • Interest in contributing to People & Culture projects beyond core recruiting coordination responsibilities.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, or administrative support.
  • HR-related certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, a Talent Acquisition certification) preferred but not required.

 

Compensation

The base compensation for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator role starts at $60,000 - $72,000 + bonus + equity; actual pay will be adjusted based on skills and experience. Employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off, Holidays, employer covers 75% of base medical plan with buy-up options, EAP (employee assistance program), employer paid dental with a buy-up option, employer paid vision, employer paid $25,000 life/AD&D policy, paid parental leave, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% match.
