Finding the right place to grow your career isn’t (over) easy, so we’re here to help by sharing a few reasons why the grass is greener at Vital Farms. We think you’ll appreciate our focus on Conscious Capitalism, which drives business decisions that benefit all our stakeholders (leading to even better business results). You might be drawn to our innovative approach and refusal to settle for the “way things have always been done.” Or you could find it exciting to grow your skills while working for an industry-leading brand. Whether you’re into our values, our brand, or our egg-cellent puns, we hope you’ll join our Crew and help us change the world 108 square feet at a time!
At Vital Farms, we’re proud of the diverse communities we serve and the stakeholders who help bring our purpose to life. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment where every crew member feels valued. We see this as one of our greatest strengths - and your role is key to helping us build on it.
Your Role:
At Vital Farms, we’re on a mission to bring ethical food to the table and that starts with extraordinary people. As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, positive, and efficient hiring experience for every candidate who joins our flock.
In this role, you’ll be the organizational backbone of our high-volume recruitment process —coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, supporting pre-employment processes, and ensuring data accuracy across all systems. You’ll also take on interim management of our temporary recruiting process, partnering closely with staffing vendors to ensure timely hiring and onboarding of contingent talent.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make an impact, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate Interviews: Schedule and manage all interview logistics for internal and external candidates, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
- Support Communication: Maintain daily status updates for the Talent Acquisition Partner on interview schedules, offers, and pre-onboarding progress.
- Pre-Onboarding Management: Create offer letters, initiate and monitor all pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug screens, and physical assessments), and manage the pre-adverse process when needed.
- Data & Systems Oversight: Maintain accurate and timely data within Greenhouse (ATS) and internal tracking tools, supporting consistent and reliable reporting.
- New Hire & Temp Coordination: Oversee communication for upcoming new hire and temporary associate classes to ensure smooth onboarding and alignment with training teams.
- Interim Temp Recruiting Management:
- Partner with vendors to manage the temporary recruiting process from start to finish.
- Review resumes, coordinate on-site tours, and manage badge creation for temporary associates.
- Support conversion or offboarding of temporary staff in partnership with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver Exceptional Candidate Experience: Serve as an ambassador for Vital Farms, providing transparent, timely, and inspiring communication throughout the recruitment journey.
- Reporting & Administration: Generate reports, manage data entry, and assist with ad hoc reporting requests from the TA Manager and People Team Leaders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, consistency, and candidate experience across all stages of the talent acquisition process.
- Employer Branding: Represent Vital Farms with professionalism and enthusiasm in all candidate interactions and at career or industry events.
