Talent Acquisition Consultant

We are searching for a Talent Acquisition Consultant who will play an important role in building UMB’s future. You will help many people start and grow their careers, and strategically build talent pipelines for specific business needs.  Throughout this process, you’ll have the opportunity to build strong working relationships with business leaders, candidates, universities, and community organizations.

As a full-cycle recruiter, you will partner with hiring managers to proactively find and cultivate candidates for open roles at UMB. As you build a strong understanding of our business, you will conduct in-depth phone interviews and assess potential candidates for alignment with business needs.  You will build targeted sourcing strategies using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and social media efforts to identify passive candidates and build pipelines. You will build solid working relationships with Talent Acquisition members and internal stakeholders to present qualified candidates and influence their interest in UMB.   

We are excited to talk to you if:

  • You have two years of experience consulting with hiring managers to lead the full-life cycle recruitment process, or equivalent relevant experience

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • As a proactive, successful communicator, you are empowered to autonomously manage the hiring needs of each department.

  • You are highly organized, able to lead collaborations with internal and external partners

  • You are a strong relationship-builder, able to form community and one-on-one connections

  • You are comfortable leveraging resources such a LinkedIn, Indeed and other sourcing platforms to build pipelines and attract new and diverse talent to UMB.

  • You are proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation Range:

$57,760.00 - $124,170.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
