Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a fully onsite role based at Novanta’s manufacturing facility in Přelouč. In this role, you will provide operational and administrative support for the recruiting process including candidate assessment, candidate offers, the pre-hire process, and onboarding support for both manufacturing labor and salaried roles. You will work closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner in Prelouc and local HR teams to ensure a smooth, timely, and high-quality hiring process.  This position will also support interview scheduling across Novanta’s major European sites, including the Czech Republic, Germany and Spain.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Hiring Support

  • Administer initial candidate assessments and ensure all results are accurately documented.
  • Manage direct labor candidate testing scorecards and maintain timely data entry.
  • Coordinate clothing/uniform distribution, site registration, access badges, and shift alignment for new hires.
  • Prepare and complete all HR-related pre-hire documents to ensure new employees are fully cleared before their start date.
  • Update and maintain recruiting data.

Interview Scheduling & Candidate Coordination

  • Manage end-to-end scheduling of interviews and complex multipaneled sessions (until automation/technology is implemented).
  • Provide a high touch candidate experience through professional and timely communications.
  • Support candidate travel logistics when applicable.

Trade Compliance & Prescreening

  • Conduct trade compliance checks for all candidates prior to hiring manager interviews.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure full adherence to Novanta’s compliance standards.

Vendor Coordination & Finance Processes

  • Support basic invoice processing in SAP (PO tracking, GR/IR review) as required.

On-site Expectations

  • 100% onsite presence at the Přelouč factory, Monday through Friday.
  • Close collaboration with production leaders, HR, operations, and hiring managers to support high volume direct labor hiring.
  • Occasional travel to Brno may be required to support the local recruiter (frequency based on business needs).

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Recruiting process experience including interview and assessment scheduling, offer documentation management and pre-hire processes.
  • Experience working with recruiting technologies including Applicant Tracking Systems (such as Workday), AI agents, and ERP systems (such as SAP).
  • Detail oriented, proactive, and comfortable navigating both administrative and candidate-facing tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent Czech & English language skills for communication with broader European teams.
