Job Title: Field Service Representative – T56

Working Pattern: Onsite

Working location: St. Augustine, Fl

An exciting opportunity to provide support such as site visits, engine operation, maintenance, safety briefs, quality investigations, field training, accident investigations, in-flight test evaluations and direct requests of the client, all while based at St. Augustine, Florida.

As a T56 Field Service Representative (FSR) supporting aircraft manufacturer Northrup Grumman and the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye combat proven and delivers decision dominance over air, land and sea. The E-2D Advanced Hawkeye is powered by two Rolls-Royce T56-A-427 turboprop engines

The FSR will provide support to the customer by establishing and maintaining a close liaison with relevant sections of the Customer’s organization, Rolls-Royce Customer Support, Engineering and Program Management. You will provide technical assistance, to include written communication, phone calls, and electronic media relating to aircraft engine operations, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and logistics support. Review engineering changes with regard to their effect on the product in the field, including maintenance manual updates and coordinating communication plans with Customers on impact to their operations.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide assistance on technical issues to include, written communication, phone calls and electronic media relating to aircraft engine operations, Rolls-Royce and Customer databases, diagnostic software (if available), maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and logistics support.
  • Collaborating with Customer Training Services, developing and conducting supplemental training to maintenance activities through on-the-job training and classroom instruction as appropriate.
  • Supporting Manager(s) in executing T56 Program and Field Services responsibilities.
  • Complying with any requirement to relocate assignment as determined by the business and/or the Customer to ensure Rolls-Royce business objectives and contract deliverables are met and Customer operational needs are supported.
  • Providing technical support during conferences and program reviews at the request of Rolls-Royce and/or the Customer.
  • Traveling on short notice domestically or internationally (up to 25%), in support of campaigns, AOG situations and/or Customer requests.

Basic Requirements:

  • An Associate’s degree with 7+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role OR
  • A Master`s degree with 3+ experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role OR
  • JD/Ph.D.
  • In lieu of degree 9+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role
  • To be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain secret security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship.

Preferred:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
  • C-130 aircraft experience
  • T56 engine maintenance
