Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Project Management Specialist (Level 3) to join our T-45 / AV-8B Program Management team in Hazelwood, MO.

In this role, you will coordinate and manage multiple projects supporting the T-45 / AV-8B programs, including training device upgrades, engineering support, and supply support. You will support efforts from business case development and planning through implementation and execution, while driving effective cross-functional communication among internal teams and external suppliers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate issue resolution, negotiating with stakeholders to develop best-value solutions.
  • Track and manage project budgets and schedules; identify, assess, and communicate project risks and opportunities.
  • Support proposal development and negotiations for new business capture.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.
  • Develop integrated project plans aligned with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders, in accordance with established project management standards.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and business systems that enable effective decision-making.
  • Potentially lead others and manage all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) to plan, measure, and control project performance.
  • Act as the primary project point of contact to define stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Ensure appropriate project control systems are in place and integrate project data to support management decisions.
  • Monitor task execution to ensure assigned individuals are completing work as planned, providing timely tracking and reporting.
  • Provide performance assessments and feedback to appropriate management regarding project team contributions.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and sound judgment.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses, capture lessons learned, and produce historical reports to inform future project planning and execution.
  • Manage New Business Funds and associated planning activities for the T-45 / AV-8B programs.
  • Travel to NAVAIR and U.S. Navy customer locations may be required on an infrequent basis.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience developing, leading, and executing projects, including the application of project management processes and skills
  • Experience in leadership, formally or informally, leading teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience working with external stakeholders (e.g., customers, suppliers, or government representatives)
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in proposal development.
  • Experience in a role involving strategic planning and risk identification/management.
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or other government acquisition processes.
  • Experience working with United States Navy programs

Summary pay range: $94,350 - $127,650
