Infor Syteline (Infor CloudSuite Industrial) ERP System Administrator

Position Overview:  The Infor Syteline ERP System Administrator is responsible for the stability, configuration, security, and ongoing support of the organization’s Syteline/CSI environment. This role ensures that the ERP platform operates effectively across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, project operations, and other functional areas while supporting upgrades, integrations, data quality, and compliance obligations. The administrator partners closely with IT, Finance, Business Process Owners, and external vendors to maintain a reliable, well‑governed ERP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Environment Management

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Infor Syteline / CSI (on‑prem or cloud hosted), including modules, sites, groups, users, roles, and permissions.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and integrations, proactively addressing issues.
  • Manage environment refreshes, patches, updates, and release cycles in alignment with change‑management processes.
  • Collaborate with the Dev Team in the maintenance and update of the DevOps environment and the Object Inventory.
  • Partner with cloud operations (Infor CloudSuite) to troubleshoot and escalate platform-level issues.
  • Infor Document Management (IDM user).
  • Infor OS: Mongoose, ION (In-Out flows and Workflows), API, Data Fabrik, IDM (admin), Mobility, RPA, Gen AI, Portal, Security (IFS)
  • Factory Track Administration
  • Document Processor
  • Workspaces

User Access, Security & Compliance

  • Create and manage Syteline and Mingle (Infor OS) user accounts, security roles, segregation-of-duties controls, and approval workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and data-governance requirements, including financial controls and tax/invoicing rules.
  • Maintain documentation for access provisioning, roles, and privileged-account governance.

Support, Incident Management & Break/Fix

  • Serve as Tier 2/3 support for ERP incidents, functionality issues, errors, and break/fix requests.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and SMEs to diagnose issues and determine root causes.
  • Coordinate tickets, prioritization, and communication with internal/external partners, or Infor.

Change Management & Enhancements

  • Manage configuration changes, functional enhancements, and system requests
  • Participate in requirements validation, testing, and user acceptance cycles.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.

Data Integrity & Reporting Support

  • Oversee data quality including master data governance rules, site‑level configurations, and cross‑entity consistency.
  • Validate & support data migration, fiscal-year updates and reporting structures.
  • Support financial reporting and operational analytics by ensuring accurate, available system data.

Integrations & Interfaces

  • Support and monitor technical interfaces such as Infor Factory Track, Infor XM, CADTalk, Tax engines, PSA/Time systems, approval workflows, and other upstream/downstream platforms.
  • Validate integration jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure alignment with architecture

Upgrades, Projects & Transition Activities

  • Support TSA-related carve‑outs, environment separations, or new‑entity onboarding.
  • Assist with M&A integration, global harmonization, and standardization initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience administering Infor Syteline CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) and Mingle (Infor OS).
  • Strong understanding of ERP workflows in finance, supply chain, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
  • Hands-on experience with user-groups/role setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Working knowledge of SQL queries, reporting tools, or interface troubleshooting.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and collaborate with IT, business users, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and change‑management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting multi‑site, regional, or global ERP deployments.
  • Exposure to Infor OS, ION, workflow tools, CloudSuite integrations, or financial controls.
  • Experience coordinating with third‑party partners (Infor, tax tools, CAD integrations, PSA).

Required

  • Demonstrated experience administering Infor Syteline/CSI in a multi‑entity environment.
  • Experience working within structured governance models (e.g., TSA, PMO, IMO).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, financial, and compliance workflows relevant to ERP systems.
  • Experience supporting cross‑company transitions or M&A integrations.
  • Operational knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, and integration troubleshooting.

Preferred

  • Prior involvement in TSA or rTSA delivery, especially with shared services or staged IT separations.
  • Experience with license management, cost‑allocation models.
