Tasks and Qualifications:

Key challenges/specific functions:

  • Provide technical support and trouble shooting of technical issues of Dematic products and systems.
  • Incident management of reported problems and faults.
  • Problem Management of known problems until a resolution or workaround is established.
  • Participation of project work and commissioning of new systems and customer sites in Taiwan.
  • Develop and maintain effective and on-going relationships with key customers.
  • Ensure all administration work is completed and entered on time and correctly.
  • Use hazard identification tools and systems to ensure safe work practices are used and customer sites are hazard free.
  • Ensure compliance of all health & safety legislation.
  • System monitoring, validation and regression testing.
  • Resolve within a reasonable time any system issues or escalate issues within Dematic to the relevant department or manager.
  • Report on designed/installed equipment which is not performing to the design specifications.
  • Follow company internal policies and team work procedures.
  • Involvement in continual improvement activities and updating of internal knowledge base.
  • Ensure high standard of service, skill and ability with current products.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction on all assignments undertaken.

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or Computer Science/IT discipline.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in predominately Windows environments (2019, 2022 and 2024).
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Servers, networking, LANs and ideally PLC software (i.e., Siemens and Rockwell).
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET, Python, Powershell (Windows), HTML will be highly regarded.
  • Understanding of OH&S requirements
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and business expertise.
  • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot technical issues and problems.
  • Customer focused and the ability to build a rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Ability to work honestly and responsibly without supervision.
