Leidos is seeking a Network & Computer Systems Administrator to join our team at March Air Reserve Base, CA. In this mission-critical role, you’ll provide direct support to the 701st Combat Operations Squadron, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of advanced systems that drive Air Operations Center (AOC) missions.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge C5ISRO systems that integrate with the AOC Weapon System, delivering engineering expertise, technical services, and operational support. You’ll play a key role in maintaining system readiness, monitoring project milestones, and briefing program managers and client leadership on progress.
As a Systems Administrator, you will:
Manage and maintain enterprise-level environments including VMware, Citrix XenApp, Cisco UCS, ESXi, Microsoft Exchange, Red Hat Linux, and Windows servers/workstations
Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of software and applications servers
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot across multi-server environments
Administer security controls, user access, and duty position management
Oversee Oracle/SQL database servers, ensuring backup, recovery, and redundancy in real-time environments
Generate SQL queries and Oracle reports to meet operational requirements
Customize GUIs and manage system parameters for C2Core Air and TBMCS
Ensure compliance with DoD Information Assurance standards and remediate non-compliant servers
Support AOC Configuration Management and contribute to the Change Review Board (CRB) process with documentation and research
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Mathematics
OR 3 years of relevant system administration experience in lieu of degree3–5 years of experience managing large-scale, multi-server environments with relational database applications
Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, EPO, WSUS, SCCM
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Sybase databases
Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, Palo Alto Firewalls, Windows Server, UNIX (various distributions)
Familiarity with GCCS-J, C2Core Air, TBMCS systems
Current knowledge of DoD Information Security policies (COMPUSEC/INFOSEC) and tools such as Tenable ACAS
Understanding of military operations, organizational structures, and operational information requirements
Excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and project management ability
Clearance: Active Secret required; TS/SCI preferred
Certification: DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II – Security+ CE
Self-driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision
Prior experience with C2 or Intel systems and system/database administration
Hands-on expertise with Red Hat Linux, Oracle Database Administration, SQL queries, PowerShell scripting, and multi-server troubleshooting
Experience in TCP/IP networking within distributed client environments
