2727 N Central Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85004 United States of AmericaU-Haul is seeking a candidate with a strong background in Automation, Linux, Kubernetes, Scripting, and Load Balancing.
For local candidates, this is a hybrid position that requires you to be onsite at our corporate campus in Midtown Phoenix.
Local candidates will be required to be onsite 3 days/week.
Primary Responsibilities:
Leverage new and already adopted technologies to help Teams achieve their automation goals.
Independently or collaboratively drive assigned project work to completion.
Provide support for existing automation solutions.
Provide automation assistance and solution guidance to other Teams working on their automation.
Work with security compliance teams, ensuring solutions adhere to HIPAA, SOX and PCI-DSS requirements.
Provide input on solution designs and security policies.
Develop and maintain documentation for all projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (will consider technical training/job experience equivalents).
4+ years of IT experience with 2+ years of IT Systems Administration experience.
Enterprise experience with Linux Operating Systems such as Ubuntu, OEL, and RHEL.
Enterprise experience with automation technologies such as Ansible/AWX, Terraform.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Java.
Comfortable with data serialization and markup languages such as YAML, JSON, XML, and HTML.
Experience using Source Control (Git, SVN, TFVC).
Experience with load balancing solutions like Big-IP, Nginx, KEMP, or cloud based.
Ability to leverage authentication technologies like Active Directory, Entra, LDAP, SAML, and DUO in new and existing solutions.
A solid grasp of Core IT knowledge (subnetting, ports, firewalls, NAT, DNS, OSI Layers).
Fluent English and high oral and written communication skills.
Ability to plan work out in advance, scheduling approval for changes with proper communication.
Solid troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Ability to interact with various levels of professionals and business customers.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
Ability to independently research, design, implement, document, and hand off a solution.
Experience with these technologies a plus:
Enterprise experience with the design, implementation, or maintenance of the Kubernetes platform.
Web hosting experience with IIS (Internet Information Service), Apache, or Azure.
